About Second Line Stages
Second Line Stages is Louisiana's premier film and television studio and the largest studio in New Orleans. It is also the first purpose-built, full-service production facility in the state—and the first independent green film studio in the country. Developed by Susan Brennan and film consultant Trey Burvant, the studio opened in 2010. It features eight purpose-built sound stages totaling 128,500 square feet, along with 154,000 square feet of production offices and support space, and a 48-seat digital theater and mixing stage. It has hosted acclaimed Hollywood productions like Green Lantern, Django Unchained, Lee Daniels' The Butler, American Horror Story, and 21 Jump Street. The facility offers seamless access to lighting, grip, expendables, and post-production support provided by The MBS Group and other partners.
