Data Usage Policies

All data is opted out and not used for any model training and for any purposes related to improving our models or enhancing Shade’s offerings.

Opting in to share your data helps improve our models for you. Your data undergoes a sanitization process before storage. Before being fed into any training models, our team removes common sources of personal information.

Shade reserves the right to provide opportunities for users to explicitly and expressively opt-in for model training via our “Services”.

We do not process personal information through our Playground and/or API and we strongly recommend that our customers do not upload any personal information when using our services.

Do you use my data to train AI models?

All customers are by default opted out of training. Your data is safe and securely encrypted at rest. We have proper SOC2 controls regarding storage and processing to ensure employees and counterparts do not have access to your data.

Where are your services located?

All of our services are hosted by Google Cloud Platform, which is located in the United States. We only train and host our models in the United States.
